North Port United’ Tour comes to Shannon Staub Public Library

When: April 18, 2023 at 6:00pm.

City Manager Jerome Fletcher's “North Port United” Tour, a series of community engagement and discussion sessions, is coming to the Shannon Staub Public Library at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 18.

“North Port United” is aimed at bringing together City leadership and North Port residents to discuss the future of our growing city.

A kickoff session was held in late February at the North Port Public Safety Building in Wellen Park, where a standing-room-only crowd discussed hot topics including de-annexation, City finances and Hurricane Ian recovery.

“These events are an opportunity for residents to hear directly from City officials about local issues that impact their lives,” Fletcher said. “We’re looking forward to sharing more information and continuing the conversation.” .

The April 18 event will include a brief presentation and an opportunity for citizens to have their questions answered by City staff.

The “North Port United” Tour is sponsored by North Port Forward, a nonprofit organization that encourages dialogue and civic involvement.

Sponsored by North Port Forward, a 501.C.3 Non-profit Community Organization.

Light Refreshments will be served.

Seating is limited.
